Google DeepMind's Genie 4 adds audio and real-time control

Google DeepMind has unveiled Genie 4, a real-time world model capable of simulating interactive 3D environments complete with sound and talking characters. The system uses Gemini models in the background to maintain consistency across the simulation. It remains an early research model, with longer sessions still producing noticeable visual artifacts.
