Adobe and NVIDIA Expand Collaboration to Further Optimize Agentic Creation With Its Flagship Tools

Adobe and NVIDIA have announced another expansion of their partnership, which first took shape in March and gained hardware momentum in June when NVIDIA RTX Spark was introduced into the picture. The latest step brings RTX Spark optimization to three of Adobe's most widely used creative tools - Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and Substance 3D - with early benchmarks suggesting up to twice the speed for AI-driven processing tasks including editing, color work, and effects rendering.
The partnership reflects a broader trend in creative software development, where generative AI features are becoming computationally demanding enough that hardware-software co-optimization is increasingly necessary. By building tighter integration between Adobe's application layer and NVIDIA's silicon, the two companies aim to reduce the friction creatives encounter when working across image, video, audio, 3D, and motion within the same project. That multimodal nature of modern production work is part of what makes raw performance so critical to maintaining a coherent creative flow.
On the infrastructure side, Adobe is applying NVIDIA accelerated computing to its Frame.io cloud platform, targeting media processing and content discovery at scale. Reported results from selected workloads include approximately five times faster embedding generation, four to five times lower P95 processing latency, and an around 80% reduction in search proxy size. For production teams managing large and growing media libraries, those figures point to meaningfully faster asset retrieval and file handling in day-to-day use.
The two companies are also working on Adobe's Brand Concierge technology, using NVIDIA's Nemotron open models to improve personalized conversational experiences built on organizational data and content. Additional details about all these developments are expected to surface at Adobe MAX, scheduled for November 10-12, where both companies plan to demonstrate their latest tools alongside hardware partners.
