Runway News | Introducing Team Plan

Runway has introduced a Team plan, a new subscription tier designed for creative teams of two to nine people. Priced at $55 per seat, the plan bundles shared projects, pooled credits, and Brand Kits into a single offering that is meant to make it easier for small studios, agencies, and in-house creative departments to work together inside the platform without managing separate individual accounts.

The shared-credits model is a practical shift from per-user credit allocations. Rather than each seat carrying its own fixed allowance, credits are drawn from a common pool, which means heavier users on a team can lean on the collective balance without forcing lighter users to transfer or forfeit unused quota. This kind of pooling is a common ask in professional creative environments where workloads are rarely distributed evenly.

Brand Kits are a notable inclusion. They allow teams to store and apply consistent visual references - style guides, color palettes, reference imagery - across projects, helping maintain a coherent look when multiple people are generating or editing assets. For client-facing work in particular, that consistency has real value and reduces the back-and-forth that typically comes with aligning outputs to a defined aesthetic.

The Team plan fills a gap that existed between Runway's individual tiers and its enterprise offering, which typically involves custom pricing and procurement. For teams that do not need the scale or contractual complexity of an enterprise agreement but have outgrown solo accounts, the new plan offers a more direct path to shared, organized access. It is available now through Runway's website.

Runway’s WorldPrompt and the Engineering of Real-Time Worlds

Runway's WorldPrompt system powers its Gen World Models 2 (GWM 2), enabling real-time generation of video and audio through persistent context and timed actions. Rather than producing discrete clips, the model maintains a continuous understanding of an environment as it unfolds. The approach marks a notable shift in how world models can be steered interactively.

Google DeepMind has introduced Gemini 3.8 Live, an updated multimodal model paired with a new Live Avatar feature that generates an animated, talking on-screen presence during real-time conversations. The combination allows users to interact with a responsive visual agent rather than a purely voice-based interface. The release marks another step in Google's effort to make AI interactions feel more immediate and embodied.
