Runway News | Runway Joins Claude Marketplace

Runway has made its Creative suite available through Anthropic's Claude Marketplace, a distribution channel that lets enterprise customers access third-party AI tools alongside Claude and pay for them through their existing Anthropic billing commitments. The integration covers video generation and editing, image creation, and audio - the core output types that Runway has built its platform around.

For enterprise teams already operating under committed Anthropic spend agreements, this removes a separate procurement step. Rather than managing a standalone Runway contract, organizations can treat Runway Creative as part of their broader Anthropic toolset, consolidating usage and billing in one place. That kind of workflow consolidation tends to matter in larger organizations where vendor management and budget allocation across departments can slow adoption.

The Claude Marketplace itself is a relatively recent development from Anthropic, designed to extend Claude's utility by connecting it to specialized external capabilities. Runway's inclusion signals that multimodal media generation - particularly video - is increasingly seen as a necessary complement to text-based AI workflows, not a separate vertical.

Runway has positioned itself as one of the more established names in AI video, with tools like Gen-3 Alpha underpinning its offering. Its presence in the Claude Marketplace brings that infrastructure closer to the enterprise workflows where Claude is already in use, which could broaden the range of creative and production tasks teams can run without switching platforms.

Elorian’s first AI model wants to reason with images, not just about them

Elorian has released its first AI model, Glimpse, which is designed to reason with images as active components of a thought process rather than treating them as passive inputs to describe. According to the company's own benchmarks, Glimpse outperforms GPT-6 Astra on scientific chart reasoning and short-form video captioning. The result is a model that positions visual understanding as central to reasoning, not an afterthought.

NVIDIA Releases Nemotron 3.5 Super VL, a 120B Open Multimodal Agent Model

NVIDIA has released Nemotron 3.5 Super VL, a 120-billion-parameter open multimodal model built on a mixture-of-experts architecture with only 12 billion parameters active at any given time. The model supports a one-million-token context window and ships with NVFP4 quantized weights, allowing it to run on a single DGX Spark system. NVIDIA also released two smaller Bolt edge variants alongside the flagship model.
