Runway has announced that the team behind Kinetix, a Paris-based research lab specializing in 3D human motion and physically-grounded video generation, is joining the company. The move is aimed at advancing Runway's work on world models for robotics and expanding its research footprint in Europe.
Adobe is bringing generative video and audio capabilities directly into Premiere Pro's timeline with a new Generative Media Tool, announced at IBC 2026. Editors can describe what they need and generate context-aware video clips or sound effects without leaving their project, with support for multiple AI models including Google Veo, Runway, and Luma.
